Hiding in plain sight just an hour away from Dallas, it’s one of North Texas’ most underrated spots. Pristine, snow-white sand provides ample opportunity for sunbathing and sandcastle building, and deep blue water beckons visitors to come splash the day away.

Several caves reside at the outcropping’s base, however their safety has not been confirmed. Although we can’t advise going inside, the ancient carvings are definitely a sight to behold.
