If you missed our last big eclipse or just love seeing each and every one of them, you’ll enjoy what 2019 has in store for you. The main event is by far the super blood wolf moon lunar eclipse. It doesn’t get better than this!
The amazing super blood wolf moon eclipse has such an intense name due to everything happening at once. The first full moon of the year is called a wolf moon, plus it’s also a super blood moon, and a total lunar eclipse.

It’ll also be the last total lunar eclipse until 2021. Make sure you’re ready to go that Sunday, because it’s going to be amazing.

It’s all happening on the evening of January 20th, at around 10:30 p.m., but it will take a few hours to reach the full eclipse phase.

If you can, stay up vigilantly until about 12:40 a.m., when it becomes a fiery red-orange and absolutely stunning. You don’t need any special glasses for this amazing event, but I do recommend a telescope or camera to help you see it better.
