It’s the perfect time of year to head up to Rockford, Illinois for this magnificent outdoor discovery park. Kids of all ages adore this fabulous playground that is unlike any other in the world.

Out behind the Discovery Center Museum in northern Illinois, Rock River Discovery Park is a giant, family-fun play place with all sorts of exciting features. It is situated right on the water, giving patrons excellent views of the river.

This 15,000 square-foot multi-level park is science-themed with features like a dinosaur dig pit and water play area. There are also many tunnels, stairs, bridges, and ladders on which to run around.
