While hiking in the Land of Enchantment is always plentiful, you often have to make a lofty and long trip out into the wilderness to find the most spectacular vantage points. That is not the case with this trail system right outside of Santa Fe. This easy trail in New Mexico is right outside of the city, and the easiest way to access the mountains right in your backyard. Once you take this simple hike in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, you’ll be feeling on top of the world with some of the most spectacular views of our state. Lace up your boots, we’re going for a scenic hike that won’t take too much effort.
