The views from this secluded beach in Louisiana are positively amazing, so gas up the car and grab the sunblock, because today we are headed down to Cypremort Point State Park which has a secluded little beach that’s perfect for a summer day trip.

Located in St. Mary Parish near the very end of LA-319, this 185-acre park is nestled up on the shores of Vermilion Bay.

The Bay is a popular spot for fisherman and crabbers, boaters and sailors alike. The 100-foot fishing pier is a great option if you don’t have a boat but are still hoping to catch your biggest redfish.

There are multiple picnic benches and pavilions that offer some much needed shade from the summer sun. You’ll also find grills peppered throughout the area, so you can cook your catch right on the beach.
