With spring just around the corner, we’ve got our sights set on sunny days, warm breezes and car trips with the windows down. The only other thing we need are fresh flowers all over the house. Sure, you can head to the grocery store and grab a bouquet, but why do that when there are so many farms just bursting with flowers all over the state. And, many of them allow you to cut your own flowers to take home. Head to these farms and you can be assured that you’ll be coming home with lots of color!
Remember that many of these farms are not open now, but will be at various times between spring and fall. So, check with them before you make the trip.

Another wonderful place to wander around looking for the perfect blooms, this is a great choice if you want to spend some time looking at flowers as well as taking some home. Moulton Farm / Google For $12 a pound, you can cut your very own snapdrogons, coreoposis, cosmos and zinnias while taking in views of the New Hampshire mountains. A few flowers are sold by the stem, but you can cut them all with your very own hands to create your perfect collection. Check them out at: 18 Quarry Rd., Meredith.
