Operating since 1981, baseball lovers can step outside the village of Cooperstown to see what it’s like to watch bats comes to life!

Open Monday through Friday, the factory is free and open to the public for all to visit.

Here at the factory, you’ll get to see how they pick out different types of wood like Ash, Maple, or Yellow Birch to create the perfect baseball bat.

A fascinating fact? All the wood that the baseball bats are made out of come from local farms and areas that surround Cooperstown, helping to create roughly 30,000 bats each year.
