Columbia Farms U-Pick got its start in the early 1990s. The family-owned farm on Sauvie Island is open from June through October, and it’s the perfect place to visit if you love fresh berries.

This beautiful farm covers 80 acres, and it’s perfectly picturesque. Pack a picnic to bring with you, and plan to spend several hours here. There are picnic tables in the gazebo, and you’ll want to spend some time just enjoying the farm after you’ve picked your berries.

Columbia Farms grows flowers, pumpkins, and more than 15 different kinds of berries. Once the farm opens for the season in June, there’s pretty much always something to pick here, until the pumpkins are gone at the end of October.

Columbia Farms is open during the summer Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed on Monday. During pumpkin season, the farm is open Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
