When it comes to Colorado pizza, I usually go on and on about Beau Jo’s and how Mountain-style pizza and its pillowy crust trumps all other pizzas. While I still stand by Beau Jo’s and all of its honey-dipping sauce deliciousness, I have found another pizza place that is just as good and may just be one of the best pies in the country:

Located in Broomfield is that of Original New York Pizza, which is owned by a family who “came to Colorado with one goal in their mind, to bring the best pizza and Italian food to this region.”

(Okay, okay; I know Broomfield isn’t technically in the “middle of nowhere,” but it is definitely a suburb where you may be surprised to find authentic New York pizza!)

Established in 1991, Original New York will make you feel right at home, thanks to their comfortable dining room, friendly staff, and, of course, their mouthwatering menu.
