Wait, robots and tiki bars?! The moon meets the Caribbean! Yeah, we get it. It sounds a bit quirky and odd, but Nashville has managed to meld two wildly different worlds into a single incredible space with Chopper, one of the city’s newest Tiki bars. Located in the highly popular and hipster-infested East Nashville part of town, Chopper has managed to bring a bit of the future to the islands and the city is all the best for it. Don’t believe us? Check it out below!
Chopper - Facebook Chopper had its soft open earlier this year, as reported by Eater Nashville, and its regular hours went into effect on June 3rd. Co-owned by Andy Mumma, of Barista Parlor fame, Bryce McCloud, founder of Isle Printing and Husk Nashville’s bar manager, Mike Wolf, it’s no surprise that this incredible space is bursting with unforgettable vibes and eccentric creativity.
Chopper - Facebook Chopper is meant to evoke the history of “Island X”, a tropical island that’s chock full of robot tech, unbeknownst to the folks who stampede to Cancun and Punta Cana on an annual basis. No, this South Seas hideaway is full of mystery and some healthy Nashville hype.
Chopper Official Website No worries about the cocktail list, though. You’ll find favorites like Mai Tai’s on the menu, though you can go crazy with the “Scorpion Bowl”, a massive cocktail bowl reminiscent of New Orleans fishbowls that could provide a solid group of folks with enough alcohol for the night. Not looking to share? Well, then we’d recommend a classic cocktail or frozen drink special.
Chopper - Facebook You’ll find all sorts of neat robot vibes in the space, you just have to keep your eyes open. Quirky, fun and eccentric, you’ll feel far away from the heat of the southern United States.
Chopper - Facebook Although the menu is still under construction, Chopper will be serving up all sorts of rice bowls and sandwiches to patrons in the future. Yum!
