Nestled in southeastern Oklahoma is McCurtain County – home to Broken Bow, Hochatown, Beavers Bend State Park and Hochatown State Park. It’s filled with picturesque towns with lakes, rivers, streams, mountains, and state parks. You can pretty much find any kind of outdoor recreation within a few mile radius and it’s every nature lover’s dream come true.

Broken Bow and the nearby town of Hochatown are nestled in southeast Oklahoma near the foothills of the Kiamichi Mountains – a sub-range of the breathtaking Ouachita Mountains. The two towns are so close to each other, it’s hard to tell when you leave one and enter the other.

One of my favorite things to do is take a sunset cruise around the lake and soak in all the stunning scenery.
