Tucked away in rural northwest Connecticut is a tropical-themed restaurant serving up delicious plates. A seasonal gem, Blue Sky Foods opened for its 24th season on April 27. It features eclectic beach decor and a relaxed, laid back atmosphere you’re guaranteed to love. Make sure you visit before the season ends!

Blue Sky Foods brings the shoreline to the mainland. This beach cottage eatery is BYOB, so pack up your favorite drinks and head down to New Hartford to enjoy this eccentric stop. It’s the ultimate beach house.

Inside, you’ll find a fun, diner-like sit-in. Featured on NBC’s Feast TV, there is no “island” quite like this. As the owners would say, they’re a bit of Key West with a sprinkle of Nantucket, a dash of New Orleans and the spice of the islands thrown in for good measure.
