When it comes to dining out, South Carolinians are quite adventurous. As it turns out, the prospect of a great meal at a restaurant that’s new (to us) is an excellent reason to hop in the car and take a scenic little drive. The next time your taste buds are seeking a casual – yet flavorful – meal, head to Blue Ocean, where everything is delicious – no matter what you order.
It’s always a great sign when you arrive at an out of the way restaurant and find scores of others who arrived ahead of you already devouring their food. Blue Ocean Seafood Restaurant in Clinton may not be far from Interstate 26, but in the sense of where it’s located compared to most of South Carolina, it’s a bit out of the way — but oh-so worth the drive.

Nearly everything on the menu can be ordered broiled or fried. (The crab legs are an exception, of course.) Additionally, you can get a regular portion or a large. We suggest a large because the food is super affordable and you’ll thank us later for those leftovers in the fridge.
