Hunting for Bigfoot in the woods is so old-school. Why not pull up a chair and dine with him instead? Bigfoot Bar B Que is a quirky Flagstaff restaurant that brings everyone’s favorite hairy mythical creature to life.
Much like its namesake hides deep in the woods, Bigfoot Bar B Que is tucked away beneath downtown Flagstaff. An easily overlooked staircase descends to the basement of the Old Town Shops, leading those who dare to enter straight into Sasquatch’s lair.

Sit down and marvel at your surroundings - namely, the napkin holders stamped with a Sasquatch footprint. Many customers express surprise when their waiter turns out to be a human being!

Take your time scouring the extensive menu, just as hunters sit patiently in the woods waiting for the elusive mythical creature to appear. Ribs, brisket, pulled chicken and pork, and even vegetarian meat substitutes offer something for a multitude of palates and dietary preferences. Feeling indecisive? Consider the “BBQ Tour” plate, which includes a little bit of everything.

If, for some reason, slow-smoked and perfectly seasoned meat doesn’t quite do it for you, there are plenty of other delicious selections. Among other scrumptious dishes, fully loaded hot dogs and gooey steak & cheese sandwiches will leave you nothing less than happily stuffed.

Before heading out, don’t forget to color and sign your very own Bigfoot picture. Who knows? Maybe your rendition will be the closest to reality when his existence is proven.
