It’s a good day in the office when your boss brings in a couple boxes of donuts for breakfast. Those pillowy, sugary, frosting-coated gems will give you a sugar rush that will usually last until lunchtime, and then if you’re lucky, there’ll still be a few donuts left for an afternoon snack.

Utah has plenty of great donut shops, including some of the popular new places that cover their donuts with Lucky Charms or bacon, but there’s one shop bakery that’s been making traditional donuts from scratch since 1986, and they’re still a classic favorite.

Banbury Cross opened its doors in 1986, and Utah donut lovers have been flocking to this place ever since. The bakery is located at 705 S. 700 E., Salt Lake City, UT 84102.
