Balanced Rock Park near Buhl is obviously most famous for the strange geologic wonder of the same name. At over 48-feet tall, this stunning rock seems to balance perfectly on a base that’s only 3-feet by 17-inches.

The park itself is located in a gorgeous canyon. The gorge is filled with cottonwood trees, bright green grass, and the lovely Salmon Falls Creek. It’s a tranquil little gem that’s perfect for slowing down and escaping reality for a bit.
