Most of the trail is packed gravel and easy to navigate, almost a straight shot the whole way. The total trail is 13.7 miles long, and is best used on foot or on a bike. Even those reclining bikes do well on this path, as long as it hasn’t been super wet recently.

Of course, the highlight of the whole trail is the Elm Creek railroad bridge, which you cross as part of the trail.
