You could spend a lifetime trying to see and do all there is to experience in the Bluegrass, but for 2019, we suggest you begin with these nine destinations.   1. The Kentucky Castle

What began as a boutique hotel (which it still is), has grown into a wonderful restaurant, event space, and host of a variety of activities for all ages.   1. Red River Gorge

  1. The Blue Heron Mining Community

Facebook/McCreary Tourism McCreary County is a wonderful destination in Kentucky for many reasons, and one of them if the historic Blue Heron Mining Community.   1. Froggetts Guntown Mountain
